Zoe loves to pet Abby.  And Abby.... tolerates it.  She's such a good dog!

We went out for lunch and shopping today for a few hours, with Zoe wearing her winter hat.

Here's Zoe after we got home, before she found out she had 'hat head':

and after:

Zoe really likes feeding herself cheese ravioli.  Some even gets in her mouth.

Zoe did this several times last night... not sure why.  Gymnast in the making?

Zoe helped us put up a baby gate today.  (Obviously safety is very important to parents who hand their baby a screwdriver just to get a cute photo.  No worries, Daddy was right next to her.)

The weather outside is frightful...  but Zoe is so delightful!

January 13, 2012

Went out to dinner tonight and Zoe discovered a new favorite food... quesadillas!

Zoe looks pretty pooped here, but I think she was at least partly pretending.  She'd put her head down like this, then grin at us and stand up again.  She did this a few times.  When she happened to hit one of the buttons that plays music, she'd start bouncing, tapping her foot, and shaking her bootie - all with her head resting on the table.

Zoe's pretty excited about our new washer and dryer.  I was SO tempted to get a photo of her inside the dryer (with the door open), but I thought better of it.

January 3, 2012

Zoe was sitting on Scott's lap, and kept pitching herself forward to tell him that she wanted to go upside-down.  How long until she's big enough for the roller coasters?

Abby wonders, "How much is that Zoe in the window?".
We got a little bit of snow today and Zoe really enjoyed looking out at it from the back door, especially when the dogs were outside.

Guess who's climbing stairs now...  She's been able to do 1 or 2 at a time with a little help for several weeks, but now she can do a whole bunch at once.  She made it up to the landing (7 steps) twice today, with no help, just a spotter.  It's funny watching her because she's still so little - it's a wonder she can get her knees high enough to reach the next step.
